Best prawn ceviche (ceviche sayulita) I have ever had! So much flavor. The watermelon del Rio margarita was delicious. So happy we stopped here on our way to Bend.

Its good. Food was reasonably priced for what you get, It was flavorful and perfectly cooked however they use cheaper ingredients like ground beef instead of steak in some of their dishes. And they focus on presentation (which looks good) instead of quantity. I'd rather pay more get less presentable food but of better quality and quantity. Just my preference. They certainly focus more on appearance then any other mexican restaurant I've been too. Free chips and salsa is great.
Not your typical Tex-Mex at this unassuming restaurant. Tried the enchiladas rio specifically because the owner stated that this dish is prepared just like in their hometown. All of the presentation of our food was gorgeous and impressive, which gave the impression that details matter to the owner. The guajillo sauce was distinctive, yet all the complex flavors complemented each other well. I also tried the mango margarita, which was delicious and they did not skimp on the tequila at all! I will be coming back for sure and highly recommend it. ¡Salud!
Great food, nice secluded patio area in the front, and service was excellent, serving us drinks and making guacamole in front of us. Food came out quick, and there was free chips and salsa as appetizers
This is probably the nicest Mexican restaurants in Madras! I haven’t been in a while, but when I’ve been before, the staff has always been very welcoming. The food is also authentic. There are a couple other okay Mexican restaurants in Madras, but in my opinion, this place has the best quality. If you’re in Madras, and looking for a nice place to eat, I’d definitely give this place a try!
Very good food. Interesting spin on classic dishes. The guacamole was made table-side and it was different but amazing. I loved that they had several vegetarian options that were specific, not just minus meat. Table service was lacking a bit, prices were a bit high, and some things were excessively spicy, but overall a good experience.
It was Rio-lly good! Guac was a bit salty but the chips were amazing and warm. Had the enchiladas en molada. The beef was incredible and the mole was one of the best I’ve ever had.
We almost left because it was taking so long for initial contact with the waitress. Then again after we ordered it took an abnormally long time for the food to come out, but I'm glad we stayed because the food was really good.I'm on a limited diet so I always get meat and beans. They were on the salty side vs flavor. My husband's was amazing. The sauce on top was really flavorful and not spicy. A side of rice and beans came with it.The chips were also really good and just enough salt.Cute place if you eat outside, but you are right next to the road.
This place is great! The gentleman working gets a 5-star for his work ethic and cooking. He was not only taking care of my group and other patrons, but also had his adolescent daughter bugging him. It was sweet and reinforced the family business atmosphere. The main dishes were excellent. Sauce was tasty and meat was cooked well. You could tell and see the ingredients were fresh. Ask for the guac! He made it right in front of us which was a real treat. My only feedback would be more seasoning. Other than, it was everything it needed to be. Thanks Rio!
